UFS is a not-for-profit healthcare organisation committed to empowering more people to live longer, healthier lives. We have a proud history of caring for local generations in the Ballarat region for over 140 years. As we continue to respond to the healthcare needs of the community, our range of health services is expanding into dental care.
With a shared passion for providing the community with the highest quality healthcare services, Dr Christine Ling and her Lydiard Street Dental Clinic team joined UFS in August 2025, creating our first ever UFS Dental Care clinic.
We’re thrilled about this partnership and the opportunity it gives us to set a new standard for dental services in our region and open up access to dental services to our patients and members.
Meet Dr. Christine Ling
Christine grew up in England and graduated from Leeds University, UK in 1999 and is a former President of the Leeds Dental Society.
Christine has extensive experience in all areas of general dentistry and has specialist knowledge in maxillo-facial surgery, orthodontics, children’s dentistry and primary care. Her ability and dedication in dentistry earned her two prestigious awards from Leeds University – one in children’s dentistry and another in oral surgery.
Christine moved to Australia in 2002 and became a key team member of an award-winning dental practice in Sydney prior to taking ownership of Lydiard Street Dental Clinic in 2010. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the prestigious Melbourne Seattle Study Club.
Christine enjoys all facets of general dental practice, particularly cosmetic dentistry, complex dental treatments, and she loves treating children! She takes a holistic view of dental health and its impact on other aspects of an individual’s overall health. Christine is committed to helping her patients make well informed choices in selecting their dental treatments.
