MMR (Measles-Mumps-Rubella) Vaccinations

Most UFS pharmacies offer the MMR vaccination, administered by an immunisation accredited pharmacist.

In response to recent measle outbreaks and low vaccination coverage, the Victorian Government is running an Enhanced Measles Vaccination program, offering free Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccines to patients aged 20-59 years of age adults, who haven’t had two doses of the vaccine or are unsure of their vaccination status. To access this subsidised vaccination at your local UFS pharmacy, you will need to generate a coupon code by visiting this website link. You can then bring this coupon code to your preferred UFS pharmacy where you can have the vaccination administered.

Some patients outside of the 20-59 age group, may be eligible for a National Immunisation Program (NIP) subsidised MMR vaccine. There is no cost for the supply or administration of NIP subsidised vaccines. To check your eligibility for an NIP MMR vaccine please click here.

For patients ineligible for either of the above MMR vaccine subsidies, the costs for a MMR vaccination are $53 for UFS members, or $66.15 for non-members.

While children from 5 years and up are able to receive the flu/MMR vaccination at a UFS Pharmacy, we recommend that anxious children between 5 and 15 years should receive the vaccine from a GP. Children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years should be vaccinated by a GP at a medical practice.
