Diabetes Medscheck

A Diabetes MedsCheck provides an in-pharmacy review of medications with a focus on your type 2 diabetes medicines management, monitoring devices, education and self-management.

You will spend time with a Pharmacist in a private consulting room where you can discuss your medications and any concerns you may be having. The Diabetes MedsCheck aims to:

• Optimise your effective use of medicine through improving understanding of, and compliance with, your diabetes medication therapy;
• Improve your effective use of blood glucose monitoring devices through training and education;
• Improve blood glucose control; and
• Reduce the risk of you developing complications associated with type 2 diabetes.
