UFS Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Services Manager to lead our Finance Team.

  • operate Supercare Nursing Services across Victoria, providing after-hours nursing services to the communities we serve.

The role

Full Time shifts from Monday to Friday. Based at the UFS Head Office, 206 Armstrong St North, Ballarat, with work from home flexibility.

The Financial Services Manager is responsible for financial analysis and reporting across the business, in addition to the management of finance administration staff in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, taking direction from the Head of Finance.

The Financial Services Manager will be a senior member of the Finance team and as such will be expected to pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the Finance team and foster a collaborative and effective working culture.

They will also be a key resource, working with them towards achieving the organisational, departmental, strategic and operational plans.

About you


  • Accounting Degree.
  • 5+ years in a Financial Management position.
  • Exposure to or understanding of operating effective and efficient financial management systems and processes.
  • Previous experience in an accounting environment is essential, including payroll operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and inspiring a team to success in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to anticipate difficulties, resolve problems and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to contribute ideas, demonstrate initiative and manage change.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand internal control practices and operate within those guidelines.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with complex analytical models
  • Advanced excel skills essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity, and commitment to the purpose and guiding principles of UFS.


  • CPA desirable but not required.
  • Previous experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP system is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Business Central would be an advantage.
